Welcome to the Practice Assessor Preparation E-learning Module at Kingston Hospital! The preparation course consist of two parts. PART 1: Completion of e-learning modules (7.5 hours). This module aims to prepare you on assessing students on practice placements for NMC-recognised courses, in line with the NMC Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment. The e-learning module must be completed and passed prior to your face-to-face workshop (PART 2). PART 2: Attendance of Face-to-face workshop (7.5 hours). After arranging a suitable date with your manager, you will need to book yourself on the workshop via Eventbrite Please see link:  PLEASE NOTE: Deadline for completing PART 1 is 7 days before your booked PART 2 date. If you have booked yourself online for PART 2 but have not completed PART 1, the Practice development may cancel your workshop booking. Your manager will need to allocate you 7.5 hours of time to complete the e-learning. Please liaise with them about when you will complete this.  Completion of both parts can be used evidence of CPD for NMC Revalidation. You may find it useful to review the NMC mini site on Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment first if you are not already familiar with the new standards and roles. There is also now information on the Practice Development page of the intranet. The workshop will focus on applying the knowledge and skills from the e-learning package.
